Community action project day 2

Hola from the DR! this is your leaders of the day Alex and Abi!

Today for breakfast we had eggs, mashed potatoes and a very special fruit WATERMELON!!!

Then after we departed to the CAP site to continue our work from yesterday. First we lined up against the wall in a line

and a truck pulled up with 75 CEMENT BLOCKS!!👷🦾 we passed them down hand to hand using our teamwork we were able to get this done in less then a hour. After we went back to the hotel to have some lunch! 👅

CHICKEN, RICE AND BEANS!!!!!

After we were supposed to depart to the cap site 𝓱𝓸𝔀𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻…

we had our first rainstorm of our trip!! this made coming back to the CAP site not possible because we could not work with cement on the rain like originally intended. This made everyone realize we needed a break from our hard work so we went shopping downtown.

After shopping.. we secretly made Appreciation Letters to all our GGLs and PCs! We all passed the cards around and signed them individually. After we had our dinner

After our dinner we presented the cards to them and had a heartfelt moment! ❤

AND! that concludes our day 8!!!
