Maya Royle

I’m very excited to be going on my first Global Glimpse trip to the Dominican Republic, Jarabacoa! I work as a social studies teacher at San Rafael High School, teaching US History. For my bachelors degree, I attended Cal Poly, SLO (Go Stangs!), earning a BS in Anthropology and Geography. The past two summers I have had the privilege of completing my Masters in the Teaching and Learning of Spanish at Universidad de Granada in Spain. Like most of you, I share a passion for traveling; I lived in Madrid for two years in my early 20’s which allowed me to travel all around Europe. In my free time, I love skiing, rock climbing, cooking, and spending time with my little pup Jackson (10 years old).
