Our brains are buzzing after hours of travel from San Francisco to Newark, then to Santiago, and finally to Constanza, Dominican Republic. The exciting week ahead makes the long journey totally worth it! Once we all arrive at our destination, Hotel Dilenia, everyone settles into their rooms. Connections start to form as we chat about our expectations and share curious questions.
Welcome seminars, currency exchange, and icebreakers mix with delicious local dishes for lunch and pasta for dinner, making for a full and fulfilling day. Now it’s time to rest and recharge for tomorrow!

I know that being away from home can be scary, but I also know that you’re a strong, brave kid, and you’ll be able to manage it. I know you miss us like we miss you.
