✨DAY NINE MAKE IT SHINE ✨

Welcome families and friends!!

Today’s leaders were Caitlin and Jania. Glimpers woke up at 7 am and had a light breakfast that consisted of cereal (Fruit Loops, frosted flakes and Cocoa Puffs) and Fruits!! We left at 8:45 am and transported to our CAP Delivery Project and finished before our original time aka 12 pm. Glimpsers were hard at work from bringing up materials up the steep path to mixing the cement and passing buckets back and forth in order to lay the cement and finalize the last house that belonged to the community of “Los Gajitos”. We then came back to the hotel and ate lunch. Which was baked chicken with white rice and beans with a side of salad. AFTERRRR… We went to Constanza’s harvest festival which was a blast!💥Glimpsers were separated into groups and went around the festival engaging with certain activites such as face painting, cooking show on stage.. YES YOU ADRIANNA AND SAKI!! Caitlin had an interesting experience in fact.. With one person asking her if she was from Korea which was very humourous indeed!😂 Jania spent majortiy of her time buying foods like quesadillas, dubai strawberry cups(from Doughry Berry), cotton candy, and coconut water. Even going as far with Caitlin as petting those beautiful doggies 😆. We went to the Domincan version of WALMART(MEI) and glimpsers had a fanstatic time picking out souveniors for loved ones. From Picking out bracelets to even purchasing plushies. We then went back to the hotel to do a self reflection of ourselves and the Cap Delivery Project. We also made them sit next to the person they usually don’t talk to often and it was intresting because they get to know more about each other. Furthermore, we had an American Style Dinner having beef patty with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and fries on the side. Once finished, we then attended our Nightly Meeting discussing the question and quote of the day(what they learned), including one rose and one thorn of today. Whereas Instrcutors gave leaders 1 plus and 1 wish. Then introducing the new leaders (YESS AJ AND MD!) for tommorow, telling us the question, quote, agenda, announcements, and reminders for tommorow. After that, giving shoutouts like BIG LOVE ❤️ and ending with a unity clap. We cant wait to hear your comments about our adventure and little side quests stay tuned for more!!!
