We are less than 2 weeks out! So exciting!

Hi all!

My name is Mary Downie and I am one of your Global Glimpse co-Leaders for our trip to Riobamba, Ecuador!  I hope you are all as excited as I am to spend a few weeks together meeting new people and experiencing a new destination and culture!  Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a High School Counselor at Southwick Regional School in Southwick, MA. I have enjoyed traveling with students from my school on a number of tips to Latin America and Spain, and I traveled with Global Glimpse for the first time last summer to the Dominican Republic.  It was an amazing experience! This will be my second time visiting the beautiful country of Ecuador, my first was about 8 years ago. I am a dog mom to Rocco – the most amazing Rottie/Hound mix there is! Feel free to ask to see pictures of him – I’ve got a few ?   I enjoy the beach (I love attempting to surf!), playing soccer (LOVING the Women’s World Cup right now!), CrossFit, traveling with my friends and family, chocolate, and reality TV (all things Bravo). I love listening and dancing to music, and I’m a big fan of puns and corny jokes! I also work part-time as a bartender at a local golf club – working weddings and events on the weekends. I’m a bit of a busybody.

It’s hard to believe we are less than 2 weeks from departure. I cannot wait to meet you all! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have.
