¡Saludos! (No. 7)

Hello everyone! My name is Aimee Satkowski and I will be one of the Global Glimpse Leaders on the trip to Turrialba, Costa Rica in June. I am really looking forward to this trip and getting to know all of you!

This will be my first trip with Global Glimpse but I have traveled quite a bit in my life. I have traveled to Costa Rica once before, Spain several times, the Dominican Republic, several other countries, and all around the US. I love to travel and see the world from new perspectives, learn about other cultures and bring back what I learn to my family, friends, and students. I have lived in the Northeast my whole life, in both Massachusetts and New York. I currently live in Westfield, MA.

I am a Spanish teacher at Westfield High School and feel very strongly that traveling and seeing the world is an important learning experience for people, especially teenagers. It is a way to open their eyes to new cultures, experiences, and opportunities. I can’t wait to explore all that Turrialba has to offer and make new memories with all of you!
