Reflection Day

Hey everyone,
Today was our final day in Panama.

We woke up at 6:30, had a big breakfast of pancakes and fruit, and loaded up on the bus at 8. We hit the road for about 2 and a half hours before stopping at a gas station and stocking up on snacks.

By 12 we made it to lunch at Sabores a la Pedrá, where we had our choice of meat over beans and rice.

After lunch, we scooted over to the Panama Canal, where we watched an informative movie about the history and creation of the canal. After that ended we were gifted the opportunity to watch a ship go through the entrance of the canal, which many of us appreciated. We left the canal around 4´o clock and made our way over to the hostel at which we stayed the first night we arrived in Panama.

We had free time for about an hour then walked over to Miguels Grill where we had dinner, and then our final nightly meeting.

It was a day full of emotion, both happy that were heading home, and sad that our time in Panama was coming to a close. See you guys tomorrow.

P.S. Dad please bring a Hawaiian pizza to the airport, people here are doubting that it´s the greatest thing ever.

Yeah, pineapple pizza is as polarizing as politics.
