Hello Glimpsers!
My name is Berenisse Buenrostro, I am a Librarian at Tennyson High School and one of two great Global Glimpse Leaders going on the trip to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic with you all! Before the trip, I wanted to let you know a little about myself, so here it goes!
I use the pronouns she/her/ella. I was born and raised in Hayward, CA which is known to many as the ‘Heart of the Bay.’ I have been in my current Library role for about 4 years now. Fun fact: I work at my alma mater Tennyson high school AND I too traveled with Global Glimpse as a high-school student back in 2010. I love getting to know new people and pushing myself out of my comfort zone and trying new things. I especially enjoy music, trying new foods, and drinking coffee.
I will be reaching out in the next few weeks to learn a little about you all as well before we leave. I have been on four different Global Glimpse trips in my time as a GGL and I am very excited to share in this experience with you all. I know that you will all leave this trip with a newfound perspective on the world and yourself.
