Hello everyone,
This is John, your Program Coordinator/Leader of the day. Today was a big day because after receiving our group at the airport and spent the night in the city of Santiago we headed to Jarabacoa where we are going to spend our next couple weeks.
We had a couple of seminars and orientation. Then, we had a city tour where the group had the chance to get to know a bit more about their city hub, listened to some local speakers and enjoyed a delicious local ice cream at the end of the tour.
Now, we just had our very first nightly meeting and ready to get some sleep and well deserved rest. Please stay tuned, because we are going to keep you posted about our moves during the next couple of days ?

¡Hola Pame! Bonsoir John ! Good evening GGers! I’m glad that you all made it safely to the DR. Honestly, seeing all of these wonderful photos makes me feel like I never left the lovely town of Jarabacoa. I’m starting to wish that I could return some day.
I hope you all get to spend a wonderful 14 days on the beautiful balcony, or in the vibrant downtown, or the… actually, I don’t want to spoil any of the fun ;). Make sure, you take full advantage of the CAP and LDD opportunities. You’ll leave something wonderful here, I know it. Just like what I had done just a few days ago. Not just that, but all the jokes, laughter, and bonding moments are something you guys shouldn’t neglect either.
But, I should stop now. Sleep is very important.

A request — Can you put the day of the week or date (or both) at the start of the blog? In the blog feed they all just show 7/11/22 so it’s helpful to have that detail added for tracking the progress of the trip (especially for us parents who can’t get online each day). THANKS! ?
