Hi! I’m Imogen!

Hi, I’m Imogen, and I’m 16 and live in Queens. I’m going into senior year, which is still crazy for me to even process. I love listening to music, and some of my favorite artists include Taylor Swift, Frank Ocean, Jeff Buckley and Mitski. I also listen to Nas, Sufjan Stevens and Billie Holiday! I also love movies and plan on pursuing directing & screenwriting in the future. My films have gotten into film festivals, and I’m working on around 6-7 film projects during the school year ahead. I’m also a writer, and I love to write plays, short stories, and fiction. My favorite color is maroon, and I love sweater vests, rainy days in New York, and iced coffee. I also love hanging out with my friends and going thrifting together. I’m also a big fan of concerts, so I’ve tried to go to as many of my favorite artists’ as possible over the last few years. I was nominated for Global Glimpse during my junior year & was super excited that I was able to get this opportunity! I wanted to apply because traveling ranks high among my favorite things in the world, and I’ve always wanted to go to Costa Rica. I love immersing myself in other cultures and hope that with this trip I can practice my Spanish. I’m looking forward to the food and the traditions that people will have & share with each other.
