Going Home!

Hellooo!!! It is Kaitlyn and Giuliana hereeeeeee, the last LDDs for the trip here to give a short summary of our last day here in Panama.

Today was an early morning out of the long journey we’ve had in Hotel Esperanza in Chitre. Today, we had the day to head back into Panama City to explore the Panama Canal. We started our 4-hour bus ride there, where we watched a short film about the creation of the Panama Canal; then we watched an actual ship cross (super cool), we then made our way back to our hostel, where we rested from 5:30-7:00pm because at 7 we had dinner. Some ate burgers, some had chicken, and some even had steak..etc. We considered this day as our “final reflection,” and we shared our experiences, big love, compassion, and genuine bonds we created during this trip at the end of our dinner. We had time to soak in the amazing relationships between us all but now it is time to head to bed because we have to wake up AT FOUR IN THE MORNING!!!!

Doing our final reflection allowed us to really soak in the love, bonds, and differences we have made in each other’s lives. After today we will leave with a clear path of the differences we want to make continuing on. This journey has opened many eyes to the biodiversity, compassion, and all the impactful moments you can really have on a complete stranger’s life and perspective of life. This night is hard for many and makes a lot of us anxious to move forward, but we have so many memories to last a lifetime. We are ready to share the experiences and challenges we’ve faced in Panama as soon as we arrive home. See you soon ?

Helloooo to my entire family and everyone reading it is Kaitlyn, I cant wait to see you all and see my cats . I will see you soon, I cant wait to share every little thing with you all. IM COMING HOMEEEEE!!!

Holissssss! I miss my MOMMMMM, MY SISTERRRR, MY AUNTTTTTTTTT and NOVA of course. I cannot wait to tell you guys about all the adventues I went on and starting each day not knowing what is to come next but I’d say I enjoyed myself and the time I sent with the people I met here. Phones should go extinct like for real (ma take my phone away and force me to meet new people;) see you guys soon ANDDDDDDD cant wait to give hugs – G <3
