Today, we woke up super early and had breakfast to get on the bus and drive a few hours to Turrialba. Mila (one of our PC)s gave us some really interesting facts about Costa Rica on our way!
Right as we got close to Aracari, we were lucky enough to see a sloth! After arriving at the base house and arranging the rooms we had a welcome seminar that was a bit long but really useful to set up all the expectations and rules.
We had some time right after to know each other a little better and talk, and even hang around the pool! After the delicious dinner prepared by Diego and Emilia we had our first nightly meeting and played a little bit and read.
We can’t wait for the adventures that wait for us tomorrow in Cartago!
