Hey guys its Ramy here, aka the goat. My brethren Anderson is right here with me too. Today was the final day of the trip and it just so happened that we were the leaders. We started the day off with breakfast, and then immediately went into our program seminar, where we discussed the recently completed CAP initiative and its multitude of impacts on not only the community but us as individuals. We spent around an hour discussing the aforementioned impacts and then wrapped it up by sharing some beautifully impactful big loves with the group. After the activities were complete we jumped into an emotional open mic segment where we expressed our emotions either through rap or poem. We got teary and emotional and stuff but it was really nice to see everyone be open and vulnerable with each other genuinely as a group. It was a heartfelt, bittersweet moment and we all shed a tear or two.
Afterwards, we had to lighten the mood with a bit of leisure and celebration. We took a trip out to the city together to have fun and explore more. Some people bought clothes, others went to the market for snacks, some went for ice cream and some went to the fire station. We all split up and had our diverted fun. In the end, we met back up to once again venture out and enjoy a delicious treat, courtesy of Global Glimpse which was some pizza!! During this time we had shared a moment and celebrated a fellow Glimpser’s date of birth. After that, we wrapped up the day with a nightly meeting where we discussed not only our performance but the performance of all the previous LDDs. Anyways that’s a wrap!
Sincerely,
Ramy and Anderson
