Can’t Wait!

Hey guys, my name is Lisenia and I’m from the Bronx! I’m currently 17 years old and a rising senior at the Hackley School. I chose this trip specifically because I read that we’d get to learn so much about Panama’s bio-cultural diversity/history, and that aligned with my desire to understand cultures holistically through nature’s lens.

I love arts n’ crafts, cooking and making my friends laugh! I’m also really into history, true crime documentaries, and dystopian series such as The Walking Dead, Until Dawn, and Detroit: Become Human.

I’m looking forward to being silly and creating new bonds with like-minded people, indulging in Panama’s indigenous cultures, and stepping out of my comfort zone in new unique spaces!
