Beach Day! (No. 7)

Hello! Today was our relaxing, fun day! We started off the day with breakfast and walking to the beach. The weather was really hot and humid, but everyone still had fun going into the beach water, building sand structures, playing volleyball, frisbee, and more! It was our last day at the villa, and it was really hard to leave because we had more rooms with fewer people, AC, and a pool. We enjoyed a delicious chicken, rice, beans, plantains, salad and fruit juice.

Today, our peers had a group seminar to discuss and plan our CAP presentation (Community Action Project) to the community leader, Don Roberto. It was hard to focus after such a fun day, but we pulled through as a team to make sure it was our best work and effort! Tomorrow, we get to build a house for the community of Monte Coca. We will make sure to rest up and prepare for the long day ahead of us!

So glad you are having such delightful adventures. I can imagine it would be hard to plan your CAP with all of that fun happening, but hopefully that planning is starting to pay off today. Warm wishes to you all!
