We made it to Riobamba! After waking up in Quito at over 9,000 feet of elevation and traveling 4.5 hours through the Ecuadorian countryside, we are finally at our destination. We were happy to add two more to our crew, Annie and Paco, who works for Global Glimpse in Ecuador and were nice enough to meet us at the airport Friday night. Getting to stop along the way to Riobamba to get a picture of the tallest mountain in Ecuador, Chimborazo, was an incredible welcome to the area! Our first day in this beautiful city was filled with seminars about all the adventures to come. And we couldn’t be happier with our wonderful meal providers, Isabel and Nelson, who cooked us two delicious meals.
What an amazing day. What an amazing group of young people. Can’t wait for the next adventure.
