Today was Aid & Development Day!!! We figured out what our capstone project will be. The capstone project is building homes for the locals in Juan Dolio with Servicio Social de Iglesias, an organization based on building homes for the homeless. Global Glimpse has already made 17 homes with this organization, and we are thrilled to continue that legacy. We were originally planning to interview the founder of the organization so we could further understand the work they do. Unfortunately, it was an extremely rainy day, so our plans were canceled. In turn, we stayed on the ranch and spent much-needed quality time with one another. We spent hours playing games such as Charades, Monopoly Deal, and Banana Grams. We also did mental warm-ups that helped us get to know one another better. Luckily, we have another opportunity to meet with the organization later this week.

Good morning Glimpsers!
Happy to hear about your new project. What a great way to contribute to the community. –
The rain is a result of Hurricane Beryl that is currently south of DR but headed west. It might be rainy another day or two. I’m sure you will all find a fun way to pass the time.
But also, If you can, take the opportunity to bathe, barefoot in the rain. Truly a grounding experience. <3
Missing you so much Azzy! Please remember to reapply sunblock after a swim. Sending you all Big Love!
