About Me (No. 2)

Hello! My name is Sam. I go to Easthampton High School and plan on studying engineering of some sort, in college. Some of my hobbies include soccer, fencing, playing guitar and ukulele (really badly, but we don’t need to talk about that), reading, trivia, and throwing rocks into the water. When I was nominated for this program, I immediately decided to apply. I have never traveled out of the country, so I was looking forward to the opportunity to expand my horizons, discover new things, meet new people, and overall have fun. I look forward to practicing my very subpar Spanish (Google Translate only got me so far) and making new friends. I’m not too thrilled to wake up at like 3 am to get to the airport on July 9th, but it’s more than worth it for the trip. See you all then!
