Day 13 “CLOSING REFLECTION”

Greetings from Ciudad de Panamá everyone!
This is Luz and Marco here, writing to say that the Las Tablas 2B delegation has arrived safely – all 18 Glimpsers and our 2 amazing Global Glimpse Leaders. They were pretty tired after their long journey, but everyone was also in good spirits thanks to the new friendships and excitement of finally being in Panamá (also having pizza for dinner probably helped). Both of us are so excited to get to know the group and share new experiences with them in Las Tablas, even with one day less we know they will make the most of this experience. Everyone stay tuned because there are more blog posts to come, but they will be written by our Glimpsers as part of their Leader of the Day responsibilities. We are turning in for the night now! We’ll have a short city tour tomorrow morning before leaving for Las Tablas, we should be arriving around 6 PM.

ANIMO WATTS IN PANAMA! I’m glad you guys made it safely, and ASB is missing both Jalen and Judith. You’re not missing much here at school. Today’s ASB was assigned to help out with Summer Bridge and joined them on a field trip to Top Golf. Do not feel like you’re missing out on much here because traveling internationally is a much richer experience than going to Top Golf. On a side note, Adrian was confused today because he thought that ASB needed to come to school on a Saturday (Oh, Adrian). As far as Mr. Alvarez, I’m good. I saw the movie A Quiet Place Day One and it was…suspenseful (SPOILER ALERT)…ALIENS ATTACK US. I also saw Despicable Me 4 with my sons; it was good. I recommend seeing it; the minions are funny. Concerning politics, President Joe Biden is not doing well; we will discuss it in AP Government Jalen (I wish I could say the same for Judith, but she decided not to take my class; I’m not mad, just a little saucy). Also, SMILE JUDITH! Next picture posted, I want to see your beautiful smile (you too, Jalen). Keep each other safe (buddy system) and enjoy. Don’t forget to bring back a present for your favorite teacher (ME).
