Today we went to Plan Yaque where the Glimpsers learned about the importance of clean water resources throughout the country and the efforts of this international collaboration to protect this vital resource for many small communities in the Dominican Republic.
Then we went to learn about the discovery phase of our CAP project, where we learned about the need for sustainable and reliable sources of water.
After, we went to speak to the leaders of the community and asked various questions about their needs while learning that clean water is their main focus.
Later, we headed back to the ranch to start the design phase of our CAP project and discussed the necessary materials and jobs in order for a successful project. During that discussion, we strategized a plan to present our idea to the community leaders tomorrow.

Lisa’s uncle runs a charity in Haiti that has a focus on clean water and housing in rural communities. Sounds like you are seeing first hand next door the same needs still not met.
