Travel is a powerful tool for preparing the next generations for that future. That’s why we are dedicated to promoting travel equity, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to broaden their horizons and develop the skills needed to lead in a diverse and interconnected world.

We strive to support a diverse student community in which all feel included and are treated equitably before, during, and after their travel experience.
Supporting diverse families and their needs with bilingual information sessions, materials and staff.
We have several DEI education and learning opportunities for students through pre trip inclusion and belonging workshops.
We ensure that guest speakers represent a range of backgrounds to provide a more comprehensive perspective on various issues.
By implementing these practices thoughtfully and systematically, we aim to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for diverse students, ensuring their unique identities and needs are supported and respected.

We understand that Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging begin with our team. With this understanding, we have embarked on a continuous learning journey to build a team that reflects, respects, and understands the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students.

Staff DEIB In Action
We strive to co-create a culture where all staff feel a sense of belonging and inclusion. This goes beyond words or workshops and has translated into policy, process, and practice changes, redesigned through inclusive decision making practices.
Established yearly professional development workshops, management coaching, and learning projects for staff to engage in intercultural awareness and increased competencies.
Implemented a process of surveying staff and students to gather demographic data and create a comprehensive analysis of satisfaction and impact across demographics.
Established yearly DEI priorities, goals, and strategies with 100% staff participation in setting and measuring annual DEIB goals.
Dedicated time and resources to diversify our candidate pools – including but not limited to assessment, hiring, and onboarding process adjustments.

At Global Glimpse, we know that transparency increases credibility and vulnerability builds trust. While we haven’t always achieved our goals in diversity, equity, and inclusion, we are continually striving to improve for our communities—our team, students, and partners.
A Work in Progress
We recognize that our DEIB journey is ongoing and are currently working on the following:
- Increase racial diversity among our GG Leader Chaperones.
- Provide mentors from various affinity groups for our students.
- Establish clearer pathways for growth within our team, eliminating demographic gaps.
- Offer better support for our non-binary students.
- Increase the % of male identifying students that we serve.
By addressing these areas, we aim to create a more inclusive and supportive environment so that everyone can thrive.
