Day 13 – Final Reflection

Good evening everyone,

We are Emilio and Lola, today’s Leaders of the Day for the final reflection day. We woke up at 5:30 am so we could wake everyone else up at 6:00 am. We ate breakfast shortly after then transitioned and had our final seminar at 7:00 am. It was a final reflection to think about the people who supported us throughout our GG journey, our self-respect, and what we learned from our epiphanic experience here in Panama. Everyone was able to receive big love from each other and it was a really nice closing to our GG seminars. After, we took our suitcases to the bus and began our 4-hour trip to the Panama Canal. Arriving there, we saw the boat pass the canal and it was cool to learn about the history of such a major global transportation system. We then watched a 3D movie about the Canal and left off to the hostel. When we arrived at the Hostal, it reminded me of the first day we arrived in Panama, and thought about how close everyone had gotten and the newfound friendships that had been created. We then ate pizza at the hostel and had one last quick nightly meeting. We had fun being the last leaders of the day and this trip has helped us grow and be involved in an amazing culture.
