Yader is a history buff from Leon Nicaragua where he lives with his wife, 3 children, and one grandchild. He is passionate about the relationship between social justice and economics, and he believes that exposing young people from the US to the realities of life in the Global South will create greater responsibility and understanding in the next generation.  Since beginning his work with Global Glimpse in 2012, Yader has overseen both US and international finances and he has extensive experience in budgeting, accounting, financial planning, and systems management. As Director of Finance & Operations, he leads all finance support and organization-wide accounting and bookkeeping. Yader holds a BA in Public Finance and Accounting, a BA in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, and he is currently studying to be a certified Senior Technician in Web Development.  When not at work, you can find Yader cheering in the stands at baseball games across Nicaragua, reading poetry by Rubén Darío, or programming new online applications.
