Born and raised in Northern Nicaragua, Miguel found Global Glimpse through a local youth development organization. He is passionate about helping young people envision and create a more just and equitable world. Since joining Global Glimpse in 2016, Miguel has led Global Glimpse programs in Nicaragua and Panama and he has extensive experience in partnership development, program operations, risk management, and health and safety. As International Health and Safety Manager, Miguel works across the organization to ensure the health and safety of all Global Glimpse students, staff, and educators. Miguel is bilingual and holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the Evangelical University in Nicaragua. When not at work, Miguel loves spending time with his wife and twin daughters, going for long drives, learning about cars and new technology, and watching action movies.
