Michael Davis Velasco is a seasoned human resources leader, attorney, and equality advocate with over two decades of experience transforming public companies in the tech and media industries through innovative, people-centric strategies.

Prior to Expedia, Michael was the Chief Human Resources Executive at Tribune Media where he also served as Associate General Counsel and Chief Labor & Employment Counsel. Michael’s professional journey in media includes prior roles as Vice President of Labor Relations at NBCUniversal and overseeing labor relations for Telemundo Network, Studios, International, cable operations and owned and operated stations throughout the continental United States and Puerto Rico. Michael has also practiced law in Mexico City and New York within a variety of disciplines including corporate transactions, civil litigation, intellectual property, and employment law. Michael and his family reside in Brooklyn, New York.
