Kris Holloway, MPH brings over 19 years of leadership, strategic vision, and data-driven execution in international education to her role as Chief Growth & Strategy Officer (CGSO) at Global Glimpse. While her official title points to revenue and scaling, Kris frequently operates as a “Chief Enthusiasm Officer” and brings a belief that driving serious organizational growth is best paired with a heavy dose of humor, passion, and fun. She is responsible for leading Global Glimpse’s growth strategy and expanding access to life-changing global learning opportunities for diverse high school students.
Prior to joining Global Glimpse, Kris spent nearly two decades at CIS Abroad, serving as President & CEO for eight years of this top education abroad provider for US college and university students. During her tenure, she maintained full P&L accountability and spearheaded transformative growth, expanding access to life-changing global learning opportunities by increasing student enrollment by over 240% and expanding the organization’s university affiliate network by 500%. Following the acquisition of CIS Abroad in 2025, Kris served as the Executive Vice President of Partner Success at CEA CAPA Education Abroad, where she navigated complex M&A integration as a people-centered voice on the executive team.
Kris is focused on creating an ambitious roadmap to significantly expand the organization’s reach and impact over the next decade. A naturally collaborative and relationship-driven leader, she loves connecting with the people who make impact possible. Kris served in the Peace Corps in Mali, West Africa, where she met her husband, John. They have two adult sons, and a sweet cobberdog named Winona. When not working, Kris can be found cycling in Western Massachusetts, hiking in the woods, or zumba’ing at the local YMCA.
