Jennifer is used to being on the go, having grown up in Italy, Massachusetts, and Ohio. Her later adventures include cycling through roles as a Fair Trade barista, an EFL/ESL teacher, and a program coordinator and facilitator for Global Glimpse. Each step opened her eyes to different facets of the world: the inequalities present across and within country borders, the boundless potential of inspired youth to effect change, and the capacity for travel-based, student-centered experiential learning to promote global citizenship and intercultural awareness. She holds an MA in Linguistics from the Ohio State University and a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. When not at work, you can find Jennifer trying new recipes, taking care of her plants, brushing up on languages, and exercising to BTS.
