Originally from Pakistan, Sunila grew up as an immigrant in an under-resourced community in Houston, one of the most diverse cities in the U.S. This early experience sparked her dedication to service and passion for closing the opportunity gap for underserved youth. Over the last decade, Sunila has held various leadership roles in the nonprofit sector, where she has gained extensive experience in youth development, program and partnership management, fundraising, and growth strategy.

As the Director of Development at Global Glimpse, Sunila leads the organization’s fundraising strategy, portfolio management, and donor stewardship efforts. Her favorite part of the job is building values-aligned partnerships that increase access to opportunity for young people while meaningfully engaging and adding value for partners.

Sunila holds a Bachelor of Science and a Nonprofit Management Certification from the University of Houston. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling the globe, and discovering new restaurants.
