Global Scholar Program
The Global Scholar program is an exclusive program of Global Glimpse that builds partnerships with high schools to provide an incredible experience for the most outstanding student leaders and influencers. Nominated and accepted students participate in leadership and global education after-school workshops to prepare for their summer immersion experience.
Global Glimpse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to educate the next generation of diverse leaders. Our program supports ethnic and socioeconomic diversity, opportunity, and accessibility to all through donor subsidies and scholarships.
Nomination
Global Scholars are from our partner high schools and are nominated for the program by school faculty based on their leadership and potential for collegiate and career success.
Partner Schools
We partner with high schools
that want to empower and
enable their students to be
agents of change in their
schools and communities.
Schools must demonstrate a
commitment to forming a
long-term partnership with Global Glimpse. New
schools are accepted
in the Spring and Fall.
Accessibility
Donors have provided generous program subsidies and scholarship to all global scholars to remove any financial limitations
After-school workshops
Fun and insightful monthly workshops cover leadership development, global education, and fundraising
Application for the summer 2010 program is open to all high school sophomores and juniors. Select schools and students are admitted to the Global Scholar program.
